Looking for an airline flight tracking system - online or software - can you help? I work for a company that picks clients up at various airports. We're looking for either tracking software or a free online service that will help us keep track of flight arrivals - up to 60 per day. The various airport sites are not at all reliable. I do computer consulting and part of what I do is recommend what software applications and/ or web applications help a person or business accomplish what that want to do. I need a way to keep track of how I or others have done things in the past--what works. Until I figure out a better way I think I will either make a list in MS Word, Treepad Freeware or Google docs. Internet website access monitoring software? In our (small) hotel we provide free internet access in each room. Is there any FREE software i can install on our network that tracks the websites that have been accessed by guests. The UK trading standards have suggested I keep a list in case there is any illegal access from one of the guests. I don't want to sneek or peek at what guests are doing, i just want to be able to call up a list of sites and times if the police knock at the door. Obviously, the s/w would sit on one of my PCs and have no client on the guests PC The router is just a small unit and not capable of having s/w added to it. New coworker is a lazy beyotch! Can this make trouble for my job stability? OK, last week I took a new job at this one company, basically working in an office. The dept. I work in hired me and this other woman to do the order processing and shipping. Her and I get along perfect so there's no problem there. This is what the problem is, on our software that keeps track of customers and clients, its very important that there are no duplicate entries of any same customer so we have to straighten the dupe'd records out. Our boss told us this lady from another dept. would be around to show us how to fix that up the first day, and she didn't even come by to show is how, and hasn't for the rest of the week. Nevertheless she does like to rag on us about duplicate entries in the database, and we tell her we don't know how to take them off and on Friday the boss leaned on her to get off her ass and show us how but she weaseled away by asking us where today's mail was and we told her we already brought it out to everyone and then she rags us saying only she can do that. (cont'd.) so she leaves in a huff and we STILL don't know how to take off the double records. What worries me is that she seems to be very threatened by the both of us because we actually do work and she just poses and looks busy. This is going to sound bigoted no matter how I say it but she is Latina and I so I don't know how feisty and vindictive she will be to us and whether she will use whatever kind of clout that keeps her in a job where she does no work to get me or my coworker let go. I need this job really bad and I think this may be a consistent problem because the departing woman for our job that was supposed to train us didn't show up and I theoirze that she left because of this same lady who does not help us. what all information is stored in the server log in linux without installing any special software? i mean when i install a linux server version, what information can i access thro the server logs about the clients?im intending to do a project on tracking the user sessions for a set of webpages and reconstructing their paths and all such statistics like visit lenghts, their ip addresses by getting the information from the logs and writing cgi or php scripts.. this is a final year project... is this feasible? i mean will it involve enough work to be a project or is the work too less for a final yr project.. can i complete it within a span of 3 months. 4 of us are doing it... i wanted to know how much info is already available in the logs and how much more we need to do.. we want to output graphical statistics for the no. or users using it during a time span...
